For all sports except Ice Hockey:

User fees are non-refundable once a student-athlete has participated in a contest. The user fee for the 2023-2024 school year is $250 per sport / per season with a $1,250 family maximum (per household / per school year) inclusive of both middle school and high school students. In cases of financial hardship, waivers will be granted based on Federal Free and Reduced Meals Program income guidelines and will allow for 50% fee waiver if eligible for reduced meals, and 100% fee waiver if eligible for free meals.

Payment Options:

A) Personal Check: Please make all checks payable to: Town of Littleton - Athletic Fee.

For Ice Hockey only:

The Littleton School Committee voted to implement an ice rental surcharge for Ice Hockey. Given the similar projected participation and costs, the decision has been made to continue the same fee structure for the upcoming 2023-2024 Ice Hockey season. The surcharge is necessary to cover the extraneous costs associated with the sport of Ice Hockey.

The surcharge will be in addition to the standard athletic fee of $250 per sport and will not count towards the $1,250 family max. The surcharge for the 2023-2024 season is the same as last year, $425. Thus, the fee for a student-athlete who has not met the family max will be $675 ($250 standard user fee + $425 ice rental surcharge). This fee structure will be the same for Ice Hockey student-athletes from Littleton High School and the Bromfield School. The formula for calculating the ice rental surcharge was decided upon as follows: total ice rental amount for regular season divided by anticipated roster = surcharge amount.

In cases of financial hardship, the same guidelines will be followed for the ice rental surcharge as the standard user fee. Thus, waivers will be granted based on Federal Free and Reduced Meals Program income guidelines and will allow for 50% fee waiver if eligible for reduced meals, and 100% fee waiver if eligible for free meals.
