Littleton Staff, Parents, and Community Members-
Next week, the Littleton School Committee will host three finalists for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Each finalist will participate in a "Day in the District" to meet with various stakeholder groups and engage with the public.
Please be advised that Heather Galante, who was previously announced as a finalist, has accepted a position in another school district and is no longer under consideration for this role.
The schedule for the finalist visits is as follows:
Monday, March 30: Charles Caliri, Assistant Superintendent in Ayer-Shirley.
Tuesday, March 31: Michael Caira, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment in Ashland.
Wednesday, April 1: Kate Guziejka, Principal at Spaulding Memorial School for the North Middlesex Regional School District.
To ensure everyone has an opportunity to meet the candidates, we will hold the following forums each day:
District Staff Open Forums
- Time: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
- Location: Central Office Auditorium, 36 King Street
Community Open Forums (Parents & Residents)
- Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Location: Center on Shattuck, Multipurpose Room, 33 Shattuck Street
(Staff are also invited to attend this session if they are unable to make the 3:00 PM staff forum).
Public Interviews
Following the afternoon sessions, each candidate will participate in a formal public interview with the School Committee at 7:00 PM on their respective days. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person at the Center on Shattuck, Multipurpose Room. Please note that while there is no hybrid option, the interviews will be recorded and posted online on Friday, April 3rd, by LCTV.
This is a vital opportunity to participate in the selection process for our next district leader. We encourage you to attend these sessions and provide your feedback via our online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BXLHRXQ
