Littleton voters will decide on a warrant article to approve building a new Shaker Lane School at the Special Town Meeting on Oct. 28.

We are providing the answers to some of the frequently asked questions about the Shaker Lane School Building Project in the weeks leading up to the vote.

QUESTION: What is the project budget?

ANSWER: At an Aug. 27 meeting, the Massachusetts School Building Authority Board of Directors approved a total project budget of $99,704,151 for the Shaker Lane School Building Project, with an estimated maximum facilities grant of $38,192,408.

If approved, this would be the most expensive project ever undertaken by the Town of Littleton. Town leaders and the project team are working hard to reduce the impact to taxpayers.
