New Student Registration for Parents and Guardians

Welcome to the Littleton Public Schools!  This process is completed entirely online using the Aspen Family Portal, which can be accessed from a computer or a mobile device.

To begin, you’ll need to create an Aspen account and then use it to register your student.

Step 1: Create Your Aspen Account

If you're a new family to Littleton Public Schools, you'll need to create a new Aspen account.

  1. Go to the Aspen login page.
  2. Click the blue "Request an Account" link.
  3. A new pop-up window will appear. Select your account type and click "Next Step."
  4. Enter your information in all the required fields (marked with an asterisk).
  5. On the next screen, you'll be asked to provide an email address and create a password. This email will be your login ID. Your password must be at least six characters long and include one number, one capital letter, and one lowercase letter.
  6. Click "Create my Account."
  7. You'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. Once verified, you can log in with your new credentials.

If you already have a student in the district and are registering a sibling, you can use your existing Aspen login. If you need assistance with your login, please email aspen@littletonps.org.

Step 2: Register Your Student

  1. Log into your Aspen account.
  2. On the left-hand side, click "New Student" then click "Initiate."
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete each page of the registration form. Please review and edit all fields. Required fields are marked with an asterisk, and the system won't let you submit until they're all complete.
  4. You can click "Save & Close" at any time to save your progress and return to the form later. All changes are automatically saved when you click "Next" or "Previous."
  5. You will be asked to upload the required documents listed below. Please have them ready to upload.
  6. When you're finished, click "Submit."

Required Documents

Please have the following documents ready to upload during the registration process:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Health Records:
    • Physical exam (dated within the last 12 months)
    • Immunization record (check Mass.gov for requirements)
    • Lead screening (for Kindergarten students)
    • Vision and hearing screening (for Kindergarten and Preschool students)
  • Proof of Residency (one document required):
    • Utility bill with a Littleton address
    • Signed lease
    • Signed purchase and sale agreement
    • Settlement document on a new home
    • Property tax bill or deed
    • Automobile registration or excise tax bill
  • Most recent report card/transcript from your student’s previous school (if applicable)
  • Custody/court order (if applicable)
  • IEP/504 or other relevant documents (if applicable)

Next Steps


After you click "Submit," a registrar will review your information. This may take up to two weeks. Please do not resubmit the form. You will receive an email notification when your student's registration has been approved.
