Dress**
  • Shorts or Sweat pants
  • Sneakers
  • No Jeans or Jean Shorts
Running and Stretching
  • This will occur in every L.M.S. Phys. Ed. class

** If a student does not dress correctly he/she will receive a zero,

a detention, not be able to participate and have to read their health book.


Grading
  • 1/3 Skills
  • 1/3 Effort
  • 1/3 Conduct
Sickness/Injury
  • Student should present a doctor's note to the P.E. teacher or see the school nurse

The units below make up the LMS Phys. Ed. program.  Occasionally something different is put into the mix, ex. capture the flag, wiffleball, etc.

Fall
  • Ultimate Frisbee (All)
  • Field Hockey (All)
  • Soccer (All)
  • Flag Football (All)
Winter
  • Rollerblading (7th-8th)
  • Floor Hockey (All)
  • Basketball (All)
  • X-Country Skiing (All)
  • Volleyball (7th-8th)
  • Speedball (6th)
  • Assorted Games (6th)
Spring
  • Lacrosse (All)
  • Softball (All)
  • Track & Field (All)
  • Archery (8th)

The instructor holds the right to add or delete a unit at his discretion without notice.


Intramurals:  After school program where students can participate in sports Thursdays after school from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
